The origins of Poker are somewhat
disputed, with some saying that it
originated in China, whilst another view are
that its origins lie in Eastern Europe,
however what cant be disputed is the
worldwide popularity of the game now. It is
fair to say that Poker has never been more
popular than it is today.
That popularity has now spread worldwide,
with poker being particularly prevalent in
Scandinavian countries such as Sweden,
Norway and Denmark. These regions have more

European Poker
Other areas of Europe are also have many
keen poker players, probably none more so
than the United Kingdom, closely followed by

traditionally the centre of the poker world,

Poker is such an addictive game to both

will continue to rapidly grow in popularity
all over the world in the years to come.
Asia, which has such a gambling culture
could be the next area to explode, although
the restrictive nature of the Chinese
government and the difficulties of making
